Rock Racks hitch MOUNT storage stands are great for allowing rack to double as a storage rack for bikes in the garage and are designed to store up to 6 bikes with bike rack mounted on stand. The 100mm caster wheels allow stand with rack mounted to easily be wheeled out to vehicle for easy and also manouvered into position within the garage or shed.

FOLDING VERTICAL BIKE RACK

Racks can be purchased with optional folding system to allow rack to be folded when not in use making it very easy to store in garage and easy to carry to and install on vehicle. Rack can easily be placed in corner of garage or on a shelf when folded taking up minimal space.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

2, 3 and 4 Bike Vertical racks can be purchased with interchangable FLAT TONGUE mount attachment. There are 2 flat tongue mount options: 1. Mount simply bolts in place with 2 high tensile bolts . Tow Ball mount has the Rock Rack side locking bolts that eliminate any twisting on tow bar. 2. Direct Mount that uses a large bolt (20mm or 25mm depending on tow ball shaft size) to bolt directly to flat tongie through tow ball hole. The direct mount is strongest option and is available with 5 bike vertical rack as well providing tow bar has vertical load rating 150 kg + and 2 well mounted support straps are in use. Rack can be purchased with just flat tongue mount or with both the hitch and flat tongue mounts. 2 Support straps back to vehicle are esential with flat tongue mount. Straps are available in roof rack rail mount or rear door mount. See accesories page for info on support straps.

BOLT ON KIDS BIKE FRONT WHEEL BASKET

Rack fits 24 inch to 29 inch bikes very well but 20 inch bikes fit better with a smaller front wheel basket. Thse can be purchased as an extra and are easily interchanged with the regular size front wheel basket by removing the 2 x M8 bolts that hold weach wheel basket on the top bar. The Kids bike front wheel baskets do fit 16 inch bikes ok but rear wheel of bike needs a strap to hold it in place due not resting againts rear wheel bottom bar.
